About

My name is Michael. I am a dedicated and passionate music therapist committed to enhancing the well-being of individuals and communities through the transformative power of music and creativity. As a Registered Music Therapist (HPCSA) and Specialist Wellness Counsellor (ASCHP), I bring a wealth of expertise and a holistic approach to my practice.

My diverse educational background includes masters degrees in both Psychology (Msc, University of Roehampton) and Music Therapy (MMus, University of Pretoria) as well as certifications in counselling and trauma informed care.

I have accumulated clinical experience in various settings, including educational environments with children and young people, public mental health services with adults, and my own private practice. My journey in music therapy has allowed me to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, fostering creativity, healing and growth.
